Exploding Myths is Fun

It's been hammered into our heads since we were little that "there's no such thing as a free lunch." But, the gas giveaway explodes that myth. On a recent Sunday morning, a group of friends and members of Life's Answer® gave away $300 of free gas in $3 increments. Every driver asked, "Is this really free?"Our response was simple, "Yes, it's just like God's love it's free if you'll just accept it."

In a few minutes lines snaked into the street. People who had volunteered for service duty washed windshields and headlights while people waited in line. That way anxious drivers could better see what was really happening.

The idea of a free gift with no strings attached was too radical for some people. They tried to pay for the gas or give a tip. Not one penny was accepted. Some drove away. "It gave us a glimpse of how God must feel when we reject His love,"said Pastor Jerry.
